Currently Brown Design & Engineering is working with a major Utility in the southern region developing a new technology which will provide coal-fired facilities a means of transforming a waste stream into a revenue generating green product.

Eric Brown | Brown Design & Engineering Founder
Brown has over a decade of experience in the design and engineering industry. His last role was was Sr. Design Engineer at Sargent & Lundy, a Chicago-based engineering firm with an established record of accomplishments and clients in public and private sectors worldwide. While at Sargent & Lundy, Brown led design teams in all aspects of designing new and modifying existing fossil and nuclear power plants. Brown preformed as Design Lead, Design and Drafting Manager, and Process Owner. During his tenure he led teams of junior and senior design engineers for multi-billion dollar projects. He also served on Sargent & Lundy’s Engineering Oversight Committee, establishing new and challenging existing quality assurance methods. Prior to Sargent & Lundy, Brown was a Design instructor for Purdue University.

Brown received his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University where he was awarded Outstanding Student of the Academic Year, Computer Graphic and Design Technology. Following graduation he served as an Academic Affairs Adviser to the Computer Science Department.
